The 2nd partner meeting for the BREATHE project took place at Musicantia (the centre of Culture and Education of Roma Community in Ireland) on the 27th August 2019. Sergiu Pruteanu (the Managing Director of Musicantia) welcomed partners from Anti-Bullying Research and Resource Centre (ABC) at Dublin City University (DCU) and Nasc to the centre located in Balbriggan. At the Musicantia centre, Sergiu conducted a seminar about the culture and education of Roma community. He further updated about current issues, challenges, and corresponding solutions concerned the education and employment of Roma community across European countries, including Ireland. In addition, Sergiu informed that a new centre, called “Manouche”, will be established, so as to be nationally representative of all Roma people residing across Ireland. The seminar was closed with a specific focus on deliverables and the project timeline.
